Running a Promotion
Ready to run a promotion? You’ve come to the right place! We encourage our partner clubs to run sales two to four times per year to encourage sales volume and have more members see the site. We recommend that sales run site-wide and all products receive a discount.
What We’ll Need to Know:
• Confirm the % discount members will receive
• Confirm the dates the sale begins and ends
• Should members be asked to input a code to receive the discount? Note: It’s much easier on the member if they don’t have to input a code.
Promotions: Best Practice Checklist
• Send out an e-mail that highlights new sales
• Create a graphic about the sale that sits atop each page of the site
• Put reminders about the promotion in strategic spots around the club:
– At the counter in the golf shop
– In the men’s and women’s locker rooms
– On bulletin boards
• Run at least one sale in the summer and another during the holidays if not more frequently
